Margaret Mae Salerno, 81, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012, at the Thompson House, Rhinebeck. Mrs. Salerno was a longtime Rhinebeck resident and member of the Reformed Church of Rhinebeck. For several years Mrs. Salerno was a Las Vegas Show Girl and Dancer. She also loved to paint. Born November 14, 1930 in Chicago, Ill. she was the daughter of John and Chrystal (Brenan) Orr. Mrs. Salerno was predeceased in 1992 by her husband Anthony Salerno. She is survived by her loving children, Christina Brody of Rhinebeck, Catherine Salerno of Red Hook, and Anthony Salerno of Rhinebeck; and three grandchildren, Leah Brody, Tony Salerno and Gavin Salerno. She was predeceased by a brother Robert Orr. Margaret will be remembered by her family as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Calling hours Wednesday, October 10th, 5 to 8 PM, at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 11 AM, at the Reformed Church of Rhinebeck. Entombment will be in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY Memorial Donations may be made to the Reformed Church of Rhinebeck, 6368 Mill St., Rhinebeck, NY 12572
