Mrs. Maggie Adams Buried Sunday in Tidwell Cemetery

Mrs. Maggie Adams, age 75, died Saturday morning, Jan. 2, at Jena hospital, after a short illness.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Cross Roads Baptist church where she was a member. Rev. E. C. Williams, pastor of the church, was in charge of services and was assisted by Rev. David Hudnall and Rev. A. L. Clanton.

Interment was held in the Tidwell cemetery with Kinner and Stevens Home for funerals in charge.

Mrs. Adams was a life-long resident of LaSalle parish.

She is survived by three sons, Henry, Jim, and Jeff of Jena; three daughters, Mrs. Ineta Enterkin, Lillie Hudnall, and Bertha Arnold all of Jena; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Susie Stapleton, Mrs. Tilda Allen of Nebo, Mrs. Lillie Crawford of Laural, Miss., and Mrs. Jenny Zeagler of Fort Necessity, La.
