Mary Jo Courington, of Haleyville passed away Sunday at her residence.
Her funeral will be a private service at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery.
Mrs. Courington was a homemaker and was the caregiver to her mother Lucy Bagwell for 14 years. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Jesse Ray Courington; her parents, C.A. and Lucy Bagwell; great grandchild, Ava Claire Bryan; sisters: Geneva Strickland, Frances Cummings, and Delours Bagwell.
