She was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late George M. and Maude Stitt Stoner.

She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenville and the Women's Bible Class.

Surviving are a son, Robert of Glenville; a brother, Robert Stoner of Altoona, Pennsylvania; a sister, Betty Frye of Youngstown, Ohio; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 20, 1996, at First Baptist Church, Glenville, with Reverend Gary Knox officiating. Burial was in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
