April Jean Yingst, age 17, of Richmond, Indiana, died unexpectedly on Tuesday,
September 23, 2003 at the home of her aunt. She was born in Richmond on April 5,
1986 and had lived here all of her life. She was a student at the FIND Center
and attended church at the Oasis Ministry Center.
Survivors include her Parents, Carl R and Helen Hatfield Yingst of Richmond; a
Sister, Faith Yingst and her Fiance Mark Lahman of Richmond; Paternal
Grandfather Robert Hatfield and Step-Grandmother Dorothy of Clay, Kentucky;
Maternal Grandmother Norma Turner of Richmond; Great-Grandmother Inidia Gross;
Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and some very special friends.
Her Maternal Grandmother, Sophia (Riley) Taylor, Paternal Grandfather, Clifford
Yingst; and an Aunt, Mary Ann Hatfield, had preceded her in death.
Services were held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 27, 2003 in
Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Bill Longanecker officiated. Burial was in
Lutherania Cemetery.
