Ruben Daniel Weir, age 64, 4736 Ave R, Central Park, passed away at the residence Tuesday morning. Survived by the widow, Mrs Rachel Weir; 1 son, Hughey M Weir; 3 daughters, Mrs J K Black, Misses Gertrude E and Jacqueline Weir, all of B'ham; 2 brothers, H F Weir, Wellington, Tex; J H Weir, Clanton, Ala; 3 sisters, Mrs Ola McCaghren, Lakeland, Fla; Mrs L D McPherson, Chicago, Ill; Mrs R E Travis, Hartselle, Ala; 1 grandson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 3 pm Wednesday from the Central Park M E Church. Active pallbearers, W C Brannon, C H Early, J I Harden, J D Spidle, W H Henderson, W W Tucker.
