Ronald Lee Bailey, age 70, of Shady Spring, WV formerly of Harper, WV passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley. Mr. Bailey was a retired long haul truck driver, and a member of North Sandbranch Worship Center. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and was an avid West Virginia University football fan.
Born on December 9, 1948 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Woodrow Sidney Bailey (1911-1971) and Anna Lee Elizabeth Brown-Bailey (1925-2003). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Lee Bailey Jr. (Deceased); two granddaughters, Cyleigh Jade Dials (1999-2019) and Delaney Adkins (Deceased); a sister, Ruth Ann Bailey-Jackson (1944-2005); and a brother, Carlos Ray Bailey (1959-1977).
