She was formerly employed by the Deltox Co. as a wallpaper and carpeting inspector. From 1976 until the time of her death she was the owner/operator of the Millers Family Day Care Center. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran church and served on the Altar guild, was an usher and assisted with the church's nursery care. She was a member of the Wisconsin Family Day Care Association, Wisconsin Early Childhood Association and C.H.I.L.D. She enjoyed camping, traveling, sewing, crocheting and loved children.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Wally; 3 daughters, Sharon (Leo) Eckstein, Omro, Marjorie (Scott) and Lisa (fiance: John Lautenschlager)Miller, Oshkosh; 5 grandchildren, Larry (Stacey) Wright, fredonia, William Wright, Waukesha, Michael Eckstein Omro, Ann and Crystal Hudson both of Oshkosh: 1 great-grandson, Joshua Wright, Fredonia, 4 brothers, John (Eileen) Hobart, Oshkosh, Walter (MaryJane) Hobart, Pickett, LeRoy (Nadine) Hobart and William Hobart, both of Oshkosh. She is survived further by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, John Stich.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Calvary Lutheran Church are appreciated. SEEFELD FAMILY OF FUNERAL CHAPELS, 236-7750 is assisting the family with arrangements.
