Ed was born in Portland, Oregon on Sept. 7, 1954 to Glenn and Dorothy Drury. He grew up on his family farm in Yankton, Oregon and graduated from St. Helens High School in 1972.
After high school he began working as a welder for Smith Tug & Barge and then retired in 2016 from the Pacific NW Ironworkers Union Local 29. He became a Columbia County Sherriff’s Reserve Deputy in approximately 1981 and served for 15 years. Ed was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting with his children and grandchildren.
Ed is survived by his wife Jone; children and step-children Teresa, Tara, Jarrod, JeNessa, Stephanie, and Al; 14 grandchildren; and his brother John.
He is preceded in death by his parents Glen and Dorothy Drury.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on May 8, 2019 at the American Legion Hall, 424 NW First Ave, Canby, Oregon 97013.
