FLORENCE ANGIE STARRY

Florence Angie Starry of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at the age of 89.
She was born September 11, 1930 in Milford, Utah to Edward Harry and Elizabeth Ann Martin (Weidner).
Florence later moved to California, where she raised her nine children. After obtaining a nursing degree from Chaffey College, she worked in nursing homes where she lovingly served and was adored by her patients. She eventually relocated to Idabel, Oklahoma, where she has resided since 1998.
Florence enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Martin and Elizabeth Pompa; Children, Frank Anderson, Kathryn Michel, Elizabeth Anderson, and Leroy Starry;
Brothers, George Martin, James Pompa, Peter Martin, and Edward Harry Martin, Jr.;
Sisters, Effie Wagner, Ellen Harriet Lowder, Rita Irene Soliz, and Katherine Allen.
Florence is survived by her children, Wanda Field and Jerome Brackney (Golden, Oklahoma), Lawrence Anderson and Gabriela (Salt Lake City, Utah), Darlene Anderson (Duncan, Oklahoma), Paul Starry and Barbara (Haworth, Oklahoma), and Toni Thomas and Norman (Provo, Utah); Sister, Dorothy Holder (Clovis, California);
21 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Florence will be laid to rest in Milford Cemetery in Milford, Utah.
