Leona was a homemaker and a lifetime Kansas resident. Leona was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tribune, Kansas.
On June 3, 1947 she married Edwin Nicholas Billinger in Garden City, Kansas. They later separated and Edwin passed away on August 30, 2003 in Tribune, Kansas.
Leona's surviving family includes her Three Children - Lila Billinger of Garden City, Kansas, David Billinger of Temple, Texas, Edwin L. & Kathy Billinger of LaCygne, Kansas, One sister - Maggie Carter of Aurora, Colorado, Four grandchildren and Five great grandchildren.
Her parents, a daughter, Loretta J. Billinger and four siblings, Joseph Dinkel, Mary Woods, Regina Wendt and Clarence Dinkel preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in the spring with burial in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas. There will be no calling times. Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
