Funeral services for JOHN A. JANETZKE, SR., Republican leader who died Tuesday at his home, 2406 East Federal Street, will be held Saturday. Burial in Baltimore Cemetery. Mr. Janetzke was 82 years old. Only two weeks ago he was inaugurated president of the Active Republican Club, which he founded, for his 46th term. He was born in Danzig and came to this country with his parents in 1869.

In 1896 he was named magistrate of the Eastern District Police Court and served for four years. He was a member of the City Countil from 1901 to 1903. After that he became chief harbor master, in which position he remained for 25 years, until his retirement in 1928. A son, John A. Janetzke, Jr., also has served as magistrate of the Eastern District Police Court.
