REXBERG-Alberta England, 94, of Rexburg, died June 1, 1991 at the Rexburg Nursing Center of natural causes.

She was born May 11, 1897, at Cardston, Alberta, to John Marinus and Katherine Marie Peterson Jensen. When she was 9, she moved with her family to Montana. They lived at Sugar City for a short time, and in 1912 they moved to Burley.

On April 16, 1913, she married Charles William England. Their marriage was solemnized Oct, 3, 1913, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They lived at Burley, Ogden, Utah, and Pocatello before moving to Salt Lake City in 1925, where she became a beautician. The next year they moved to Sugar City and she and her husband operated a barbershop and a beauty shop. In 1940 they moved to Rexburg. Her husband died in 1984. She then moved to Salt Lake City to live with a a son.

She was a member of the LDS Church and she and her husband had served a mission in the Northwestern states. Survivors include her children, Meldon J. England of Salt Lake City, Darrell England of Tuscon, Ariz., Darla Fisher of Rupert, and Sandra Caruso of Dallas; several brothers and sisters; 21 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters.

Funeral services will be Tuesday (4 June 1991) at 11 a.m. at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will meet with friends for one hour before services. Burial will be in Burley Cemetery.
