SEPTEMBER 15, 1932 – NOVEMBER 22, 2019
Flossie Agnes McNeese, age 87 of Bassfield, MS passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at Marion General Hospital in Columbia, MS. A longtime resident of Bassfield, Mrs. McNeese was primarily a seamstress who worked for various companies including Movie Star, Inc., and was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Mrs. McNeese was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Pete” McNeese; a son, Robert McNeese; parents, Sherman Mason, and Perlie Mayes Mason; brothers, James Mason, Otho Mason, Cassie Mason, and Elmer Mason; and her granddaughter, Amy Graham. Survivors include a daughter, Angela (David) Williamson of Columbia; three sons, Faron McNeese of Tylertown, MS, Doug (Freida) McNeese, and Anthony “Bo” (Kim) McNeese, both of Bassfield; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 13 great great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church where friends may visit with family from 2:00pm until service time. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
