Lillian Lucille Copeland was born Jun 1, 1895 in Clifton, Wayne County, Tennessee; one of six children born to the farm family of Thomas Newton Copeland and Fannie Mae (Carr) Copeland. She also had two step siblings from her father's previous marriage. She married Alonzo "Lon" Boyd on June 13, 1913 in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. Lon was a retail grocer. They shared 51 years of marriage before his passing in 1964 and were blessed with two children.
Lillian Lucille (Copeland) Boyd had completed her application for entry into the OKLAHOMA CENTENARIAN HALL OF FAME. She died just three and a half months short of her 100th Birthday. She was however welcomed into the OKLAHOMA CENTENARIAN HALL OF FAME.
