Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato, with Pastor Jay Dahlvang officiating. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the hour of services at Woodland Hills Funeral Home.
Ora Sylvia was born on February 12, 1922 to Oscar and Bertha (Blackstad) Jukulen in St. James, Minnesota. She graduated from St. James High School in 1940. On July 4, 1954 she was united in marriage to Burton E. "Bud" Flanagan in Mankato, Minnesota. Ora was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, bike riding, picnics, and having a good manhattan. Ora loved time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Bill (Deb), Jim, Doug (Jeanne), Bonnie (Grant Metz); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma, Florence (Don); several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, "Bud" in 2003; 3 sisters.
