At 1:27 a.m. Sunday Pekin firemen were summoned to a fire at 2309 Cherry Lane. Mrs. Jessie Eairheart, 44, who at home alone, died in that fire. She died of smoke inhalation.
The funeral for Mrs. Eairheart will be at the Kueck's Funeral Home, burial will be in Glen Dale Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 25, 1922, at Salem, W.Va., a daughter of Thomas and Ida May Willard Webster. She was married to Brandon Eairheart Nov. 10, 1941, at Palmyra, Mo.
Surviving are her husband; seven sisters, Mrs. Ethel Legg, Mrs. Sally Gruinberg, Mrs. Virginia Bragg and Mrs. Mary Martin, all of Oak Hill, W.Va.; Mrs Marie Hilton, Beckly, W.Va. Mrs. Anna Nornange, Charlotte, N.C.; and Mrs. Nellie Kessler, Pekin; and two brothers, Charles H. Webster, Canton; and Thomas E. Webster, Pekin.
She was a member of Eastern Star and the White Shrine.
