JOHN R. BARRY DIED TODAY
John R. Barry, age 77, prominent farmer near Rock Enon died early this morning from a paralytic stroke which he suffered Sunday evening. He had been in ill health suffering from Bright's Disease and complications for many months.
He was born and reared on a farm on the north Moreau in this county and was married to Miss Sallie Enloe, youngest sister of the late Hugh L. Enloe. To this union two sons were born: Marcellus E., who died some 15 years ago and N. Barry, an attorney in Kansas City, Mo. The mother passed
away when the sons were small.
Mr. Barry was again married, this time to Miss Emma Barry and to this union three sons and a daughter were born who with the grief-stricken mother survive and mourn his passing. the sons are D. H. and Dorsey of Enon and Robert of Hickman Mills. The daughter is Mrs. Almon Gattermeir of Olean.
He was a good husband and father, a kindly neighbor and friend and great lover of nature and things beautiful. He was a member of the Christian Church.
Funeral arrangements had not been made at the time of going to press and a complete obituary will be given next week.
Burial was in Enloe Cemetery.
