Hugh "Itch" Reindl, age 81, of 2212 Emerson St., Manitowoc, WI, died Friday evening, Aug. 4, 2006, at St. Mary's Home in Manitowoc, WI. Hugh was born on May 13, 1925, in Manitowoc, son of the late Hugo and Susan (Vanderbloomen) Reindl.

He graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1943.

On Aug. 10, 1946, he married the former Anna Bennington at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Hugh was employed with Eck Industries of Manitowoc for many years until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife: Anna, of Manitowoc;
three sons and two daughters-in-law: Richard J. Reindl, Madison, Ronald H. and Barb Reindl, Sun Prairie, Robert C. and Jane Reindl, Laguna Niguel, Calif.;
one daughter and son-in-law: Patricia A. and Michael Denk, Manitowoc;
eight grandchildren: Kirk, Joel (Tricia), Christopher, Alex, Andrew, Katie, Grant and Sara;
three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Marie Hartlaub, Sheboygan, Rita and Bill Hartman, Manitowoc, Elaine and Robert Woolf, Indiana;
three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Florence Zipperer, Reedsville, Mary Kopidlansky, Manitowoc, Josie and John Janesky, Arkansas;
two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Tommy and Rosie Bennington, Minnesota, Marty and Marcy Bennington, Manitowoc;
also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Hugh is also preceded in death by two brothers: Gregory "Bud" Reindl and Jerome Reindl;
and one sister: Monica Wisniewski.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo in Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Gerald Foley with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
