ROCK FALLS – Ervin "Cork" Goodell, age 80, died at his home Sunday December 1, 2019.

Cork was born on August 31, 1939 in Rock Falls the son of Ervin D. and Irene (Crossley) Goodell. He married Judith Mandrell on March 21, 1958. Cork was employed at Northwestern Steel & Wire for 35 years retiring in 1999. He was a member of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls.

Survivors include his wife Judy of Rock Falls; one daughter, Kimberly (Mitch) Bollman of Prophetstown; two sons, Mark (Teresa Stern) Goodell of Rock Falls and Jeffrey Dale (Torrie) Goodell of Galesburg; one sister, Lucille Kirst of Camanche, Iowa; special friends Joe and Peg Whittenauer of Rock Falls; 11 grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dale Pinkston.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Harvest Time Bible Church.
