Claude C. Cornwall, 93, of 106 Catherine Street, died in Tompkins Community Hospital. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was the husband of the late Evelyn Cornwall. She died in 1969.

At the time of death, Mr. Cornwall was employed as a clinical psychologist at Challenge Industries.

Mr. Cornwall was a graduate of the University of Utah where he earned his degree in electrical engineering. At New York University, he received a master's degree in psychology and thereafter, completed his graduate work at Syracuse University and Cornell University.

He taught physics and mathematics at LDS University. Later in his career he was clinical psychologist with the Veterans Administration and the NY State Education Department.

He is survived by a son, Dr. Claude C. Cornwall, Jr., of Corning; a daughter, Evelyn Constance Powell, of Ithaca; a grandson; four brothers, Joseph S. Cornwall and Charles R. Cornwall, both of Salt Lake City and Melvin Cornwall and Douglas Cornwall, both of Clayton, New Mexico; nieces and nephews.
