Larry D. Mason, age 54, of 440 E. Reed Ave., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, Dec. 31, 2005 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Larry was born Feb. 21, 1951 in rural Mississippi, son of George Mason and the late Lucille Conoway. He was a volunteer at Peter's Pantry and the Holiday House in Manitowoc.

Survivors include a daughter: Lorraine (Lori) Mason, Two Rivers; one son: Michael Mason, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Nick Moon, Charlotte and Heather Mason; his significant other: Mary Springer, Manitowoc; his father: George Mason, Bruce, Miss.; three sisters: Geraldine Grooms, Kenosha; Renee Mason, Bruce, Miss.; Jeanette (Harold) Hardin, Bruce, Miss.; five brothers: Michael Mason, Bruce, Miss.; Kenny Mason, Bruce, Miss.; James Mason, Jackson, Miss.; Jimmy Grooms, Milwaukee; Jeff Grooms, Bruce, Miss.; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ray and Denise Sleck, Las Vegas, Nev. and Al and Donna Sleck of Sheboygan. He is preceded in death by his mother: Lucille Conoway; four brothers: Bobby Mason, Roy Grooms, Bill Grooms, Robby Grooms; and one sister: Patricia Mason.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers.
