R.J. Abbott age 77, of Pemberville, OH passed away on December 1, 2004 at Bay Park Community Hospital Oregon, OH. He went home to be with his Lord after complications of a stroke. He was born on October 11, 1927 in Helena, OH to Irvin and Cora (Ladderman) Abbott.

On September 3, 1955 in Fremont, OH he married Roma Yeasting and she survives. R.J. was a farmer in his earlier years and then became a carpenter for various contractors in the area. He was a member of Plain Congregational Church of Bowling Green, OH and its Men’s Bible Study.

Surviving along with his wife Roma are Daughters: Sue (Dan) Steck of Colton, CA, Carol (Doyle) Kidd of Petersburg, MI, Sons: Jim (Jodie) Abbott of Winston-Salem, NC, Bill (Pam) Abbott of Bowling Green, OH, 6 Grandchildren, Brothers: Dale (Sylvia) Abbott of Castalia , OH, Leroy (Helen) Abbott of Fremont, OH, and Lloyd Abbott of Burgoon, OH. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers Oral Abbott, Russell Abbott, sister Oleta Nitschke, and granddaughter Bessie Kidd.
