Born in Fort Edward, November 16, 1862, he had lived here 30 years, being employed eight years as an upholsterer. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph M. Armstrong; four sisters, Mrs. Fred Carter and Mrs. William Santabar of Saratoga Springs, Mrs. Fred Decker of Albany and Mrs. Lehman Flanders of Ballston Spa; two brothers, George Engle and Percy Angle of Mechanicville; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2:30 P. M. Wednesday at the home. The Rev. Mahlon C. Tunison, pastor of the Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
