Boonville — Mrs. Emma Davis Hubbard, 80, widow of Adelbert G. Hubbard, died Oct. 21, 1940, at her home in Ava. She had been in failing health for the last few
weeks.
She was a daughter of David H. and Cassandra Field Davis, and was born in the same house where she died. She was educated in Rome Free Academy and taught in schools in the vicinity of Ava and Boonville.
For several years she worked as secretary for the National SuretyCompany of Kansas City, MO and was transferred to New York when the company opened an office there.
On Sept 16, 1934, she was married to Adelbert G. Hubbard.
Mrs. Hubbard was a member of the Ava Methodist Church.
Surviving are a stepson, Kenneth G. Hubbard, Ava; a niece, Mrs. James Weston, Stittville; a grandnephew, James Weston, Utica, and a niece, Mrs. Clarence Weston, Illon.
Funeral services will be held at2 p. m. tomorrow in the home. Burial will be in Boonville Cemetery. Utica Daily Press, Wednesday Morning, October 23, 1940
