Carvilla Mae Forrester Ambrose was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 18, 1920 the daughter of John Frederick Forrester, Sr. and Margaret R. Wink Forrester. She married Howard Milton Ambrose, and they were the parents of Janet C. Ambrose Hart. Carvilla died at age 88 on May 23, 2009 in Baltimore and is buried in Druid Ridge Cemetery in the Baltimore, Maryland area in an unmarked grave next to her husband. (As one faces his gravestone, she lies to the right of his grave.) Her parents are also buried at Druid Ridge.
