Betty Lea Saunders, 81, of Corbin Branch, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018. She was born July 14, 1937 at Boothsville, a daughter of the late Harvey and Della Glaspell.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William “Bill” Saunders.

Betty was a member of the Boothsville United Methodist Church and member of the United Methodist women for 50 years. She loved her family and friends, she loved spending time outside, riding motorcycles, watching game shows, keeping busy.

Also surviving are her children: Barbara Morrison, husband Tim, of Corbin Branch, Pamela Stickley, husband Richard of Bruceton Mills, William (Billy) Saunders wife Rachel of Boothsville RT. 73. Grandchildren: John Chipps wife Heather, Samantha Miklon husband Corey, Cassaundra (Cassi) Saunders, and Janel Chipps; great grandchildren: Maxxis and Bryson Chipps; brother: Howard (Willa) Glaspell, Fairmont, Earl (Donna) Glaspell of Corbin Branch.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by siblings: James, Bud, Silas, Gene and June Glaspell, Ruby Furbee, Ann Hayhurst and Mary Ruth Glaspell.

As per Betty’s wishes a private Interment will be in the Claremont Cemetery near Boothsville.
