Died in Saint Francis Hospital, Trenton, of injuries received in an auto accident. Survived by wife Pearl Stark Tonkin, four sons, Richard, a Merchant Marine, Sgt. Robert, Air Corps, Pfc. William, Marine Corps, and Cpl. Leroy, Air Corps, a daughter, Mrs. Edward Magee of Dayton, and his three-year-old grandson (who was injured in the accident), Edward Joseph McKee.
