Sam J Allen, 72, of 2861 NW 184 St, Aug 18th. He came to Miami 45 years ago from Atlanta, Ga and was a retired Rowell-Southern Flooring Co employee. He was a member of the Miami Shores Christian Church. Survived by wife Annie M; 2 daughters Mrs Jacqueline Craig, Miami, Mrs Jeanelle Ferguson, Richmond, Va; sons Samuel E White, Hampton, Va, James L White, Miami, 1st Lt Thomas A White, Vietnam; sisters Mrs E M Mitchell, Mrs Rosie Grogan, Mrs Rubye Webb all of Atlanta and Mrs Mary Williamson, Miami. Services 2 pm Wed at the Van Orsdel Gratigny Road Chapel, 770 NW 119 St. Interment Southern Memorial. Repose 7 to 9 pm Tue. [The White children, including Jacqueline Craig and Jeanelle Ferguson, are children of his deceased brother-in-law, Harvey Vincent White.]
