Lucille Anne "Granny" Clark, 81, of Princeton went to be with her Savior on Sunday December 22, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Princeton Praise and Worship Center and was lovingly known as the "Granny" of the church. She dedicated her life to her Lord and her family. She has led many to the Lord in her lifetime and she touched many lives. Her Christmas wish was to go home to spend Christmas with her Lord and Savior.

Born in Browns Creek, WV on October 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Richard Oscar Bowling (1892-1953) and Edith Leona Denton-Bowling (1905-1970). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate Charles Albert Clark (1926-1989) whom she married on February 10, 1950 in Wilcoe, McDowell County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, McDowell County, WV, 1950, Page 223, Application Date: February 6, 1950); one daughter, Betty Clark-Sargent; two brothers, Richard Douglas "Doug" Bowling (1929-Deceased) and Wilburn "Bill" Bowling (1931-Deceased); sisters, Winnie May Bowling-Workman-Evans (1935-2013), Edna "June" Bowling-Pippin (1936-2012), Virginia "Ginny" Bowling-Belcher (1940-Deceased), and Alberta Jane Bowling-Green (1944-2001); and half sisters, Maggie Bowling-Keen (1917-1980) and Mabel Bowling-Halsey (1918-1977).

Left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Donna Clark-Blankenship & husband Timothy Clark of Princeton, Goldie Clark-Wettland & husband Judson Wettland of Dudley, MA, and Linda Clark of Worcester, MA; one son, Albert Wayne Clark & wife Doreen Clark of Carver, MA; one son-in-law, Darryl Sargent of TN; one sister, Mary Bowling-Belcher (B. 1938) of MI; eighteen grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren; six great, great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her extended family of HealthSouth "especially Physical Therapist Earl" and Amanda Ellison with Hospice Compassus.

Funeral Services for Lucille Clark will be conducted Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Cecil B. Shrader and Pastor Johnny Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
