Linda Jane Adamson of Youngstown, wife of Thomas W. Adamson, was called to her eternal rest on December 12, 2019, at the age of 69. Linda was born on July 9, 1950 in Niagara Falls, the only child of the late George and Jane Cutler.
Linda graduated from Lewiston Porter High School in 1968 and in 1972 she married her high school sweet-heart, Thomas W. Adamson, who survives her.
Linda was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school for a number of years.
Linda's greatest gift was her selfless and giving nature. She saw the best in everyone and in every situation, a quality that will be missed by her family. Above all Linda was a good listener to her husband, to her children and her grandchildren and friends.
Linda loved her family and raised three children: Dawn Laughlan, George (Jenny) Adamson and Melissa (CJ) Ammons. She was especially proud of her 11 grandchildren: Pvt. Anthony (Kaylee) Tamul, Pvt. Michael (Zachary) Tamul, Zachary Tamul, Brandon Tamul, Johnathan Adamson, Matthew Adamson, Elizabeth Adamson, Joshua Adamson, Logan Ammons, Ruby Ammons and Luke Ammons. Linda enjoyed many adventures with her grandchildren and loved playing games, making crafts and cooking with them.
In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, Linda is survived by a special cousin, Beverly Cline and her two beloved pets, Queen and Riley.
Family and friends may call on SUNDAY from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC., N. Fourth and Ridge Streets, Lewiston, NY 14092. Funeral services will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah, 915 Oneida St., Lewiston on MONDAY (Dec. 16th) at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Ashlin Marchese officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Rural Cemetery.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, The Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company or Messiah Lutheran Church in Lewiston.
