Services for Nathan E. Rush 60, Tyler, Tx are scheduled for 1 pm Sunday in Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home in chapel in Tyler, Tx with Dr. Mike Daniel officiating.

Burial will be in Williams Cemetery near New Chapel Hill, Tx.

Mr. Rush died Wednesday in a Tyler hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born Aug 31, 1932 in Henderson and was a lifelong resident of the Tyler area, Specifically New Chapel Hill. He attended public schools and had an associates degree in business from Tyler Junior College. He was a supervisor for the Carrier Corporation until his retirement.

He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict, Sep 1950 - Jul 1954.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Ira (Brown)Rush of Tyler, his father Nathan Carl Rush of Dayton, Tx; a son Nathan Allen Rush of Tyler; three daughters Terry Lynn Rush of Chandler; Anna Denise Erekson of Whitehouse; and Rebecca Kay Rush of Tyler. two brothers Joe Wayne Rush of Reston, VA and Jerry Lynn Rush of Cleveland, Tx; four sisters Betty Lou (Rush)Aiken of Dayton; Shirley Ann (Rush)Morris of Monticello, IN; Earline (Rush)Meaux of Lafayette, LA and Mary Etta (Rush)Moreland of Liberty, Tx. and five grandchildren Jennifer; Josh; Jody; Kyle and Amanda.

He was preceded in death by his mother LIllie Ann (Morris)Rush and Grandson Christopher Erekson.

Pallbearers include Alan Rush; Kirk Brown; Rod Gunter; Johnny Rush' Chris Gunter and Aaron Thibodeaux.
