William A. “Bill” Waldo 80, of Decatur passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born October 26, 1939 to Frank and Ruth Waldo. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Noles Waldo; two sons, Malcolm Jeffery Waldo (Gayle), Marcus Jason Waldo (Shannon); one daughter, Marcia Jo Gatewood (Todd); grandchildren, Lindsey Hughes, Will Waldo, Jonathon Waldo, Krystyn Gatewood, Matthew Gatewood, Morgan Danielle Waldo, Jon Michael Waldo and Zachery Ryan Waldo; great grandchildren, Madison Hughes, Nick Hughes, Haylee Hughes, Patrick Waldo, Emberly Waldo, and Ava Fields.

Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2019 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Trinity United Methodist Church followed by a 2:00pm memorial service with Reverend Patrick Gunn and Blake Temple officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to The Ingram Cancer Center at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee or Clearview Cancer Institute in Decatur, Alabama. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
