Funeral services for James Edgar Driskell, 75, of Trinity, Texas were held Thursday June 28, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Groveton Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Dunn officiating. Interment followed in the Flat Prairie Cemetery.
Mr. Driskell was born July 3, 1931 in Houston, Texas and passed away Sunday June 24, 2007 in Conroe, Texas. He was affiliated with the Methodist Church, had lived in Trinity since 1993 and was formerly of LaFayette, La. He served in the United States Army and was retired from Oil Co.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Marie Moore Driskell.
Survivors include his sons Jeffery Driskell of Flat Prairie and David Driskell and wife Mary of Flat Prairie; two grandchildren Iris Driskell and James Driskell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
