(1930 - 1986)

Thomas J. Moore, 56, of 3306 Monroe Street, Two Rivers, died Monday, December 22, 1986 at Two Rivers community Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday at Grace Congregational Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Daniel Wright will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Mr. Moore was born July 3, 1930, at Milwaukee, son of the late Virgil L. and Rosaland Pop Moore. Mr. Moore served 20 years in the United States Navy. He married the former Joan Williams on December 30, 1950 at Sheboygan. Mr. Moore graduated from Central High School in Sheboygan in 1948. He then entered the United States Navy Submarine Service in 1948. Mr. Moore attended Electronics School and Nuclear Power School. In 1968 he was employed at Westinghouse as a Nuclear Training Instructor. in 1970, Mr. Moore worked for WPS Kewaunee Nuclear Plant. Most recently he was Security Administrative Director at the Kewaunee Nuclear Plant. Mr. Moore was a member of William J. Kahlenberg Masonic Lodge, Packerland Fleet Reserve, Two Rivers Elks Club and a member of Grace Congregational Church.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; a son, Thomas W. Moore of Wausau; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jennifer Moore of Milwaukee and Colleen and Jim Wadtke of Minneapolis; a sister and a brother-in-law, Jeanine and James Andrews of Colorado Springs, Colorado and three grandchildren, Melissa Moore and Brian and Breanne Wadtke. He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call after 10:30 am on Friday at the church until the hour of service. Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home of Two Rivers assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
