HENRY L. PEASLEE
(1913 - 1992)
Henry L. Peaslee, age 79, a current resident of Shady Lane Home, died early Tuesday morning, March 24, 1992, at Shady Lane Home.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, at First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Bruce W. Hanstedt will officiate. Cremation will follow the services.
He was born January 17, 1913 at Dexterville, Wis., son of the late Newton H. and Hermina M. Rager Peaslee. He grew up and was educated in the Auburndale, Wis. area, graduating from the Auburndale High School. He farmed and drove semi truck in the Marshfield area, moving to Manitowoc in 1972 and retiring as a tool and die maker from Lube Devices in 1975. He was married to Mary Ann Voehl March 17, 1973 at Sussex, Wis.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann of Manitowoc; five sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Rosemary Peaslee of Kewauskum, Wis. Richard and Carol Peaslee of North Prairie, Wis., Donald and Holly Peaslee of Dousman, Wis., Douglas and Nancy Peaslee of Burlington, Wis., James and Gail Peaslee of Friendship, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister and one granddaughter.
Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Friday.
Memorials would be appreciated for the First Lutheran Church Easy Access Fund or the American Heart Association.
