Walter C. Rathsack, age 45, formerly of Two Rivers, died Friday afternoon, January 10, 1997, at the Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 1997, at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, Rev. Steve Veselak will officiate with cremation to follow. Military Committal Rites will be accorded by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #731 of Manitowoc.
Walter was born January 16, 1951, in Manitowoc, son of ClaraBelle Liddle Rathsack and the late Joseph Rathsack. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc in 1969. Walter was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1973.
Survivors include his mother, ClaraBelle Rathsack, Manitowoc; three brother and two sisters-in-law, Richard C. (Judy) Rathsack, Atmore, Ala., Michael E. (Patricia) Rathsack, Flatwoods, Ky., Joseph L. Rathack, Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Kathryn M. Blain, Manitowoc, Walene C. Ross, Manitowoc; four nieces and two nephews, Susan Gunn, Atmore, Ala, Lisa Ross, Manitowoc, Michael Ross, Tacoma, Wash., Jennifer Fahley, Collins, Kimberly Ross, Seattle, Wash., Jeff Rathsack, Madison; aunts, uncles, other relative and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; one nephew, Richard P. Rathsack.
