Mrs. Elizabeth A. Reed, of 712 N. 4th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, April 16, 1988 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Reed was born September 23, 1905 at Woodberry, New Jersey, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Robinson Aitken. She attended schools in New Rochelle, New York and won a four year scholarship in Europe at the Fine and Applied Arts. After that she came to Chicago and in 1941 coming to Manitowoc with her husband and parents. She was married to DeWitt Reed, August 25, 1936. Mrs. Reed was employed at Eitken and Reed for a number of years and then was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company until 1956 and later was a Salesclerk at Schuette Brothers Department Store until retiring in 1971. She was a member of Little Gallery and was secretary from 1970 to 1972.

She was preceded in death by her husband, DeWitt Reed.

Cremation has taken place. Jens Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, are assisting the family with arrangements.

There will be no visitation.
