Mrs. Warren (Bernice) Saltenberger, 72, formerly of 1509 - 26th Street, Two Rivers, died Friday afternoon, November 13, 1987 at Hamilton Memorial home, Two Rivers. Private Memorial Service will be held this Sunday at the residence. Cremation will have taken place.
Mrs. Saltenberger was born October 10, 1915 at Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Nils and Martha Palleson. She attended schools in the Chicago area and graduated in 1933. For a number of years she was employed at Harris Trust Company in Chicago. She married Warren Saltenberger on June 7, 1941 at Chicago, Illinois. The couple living there until 1950 when they then moved to Wauwatosa, residing there until 1964. They then came to Two Rivers to make their home. Mrs. Saltenberger was a member of Grace Congregational Church, Two Rivers, past member of Two Rivers Day Care Board, member of Manitowoc -Two Rivers Shrine Auxiliary and a member of Two Rivers Womens Club.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jan and Dan Stehlik of Medford, New Jersey and Judy and Steve Fuller of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister, Vivian Maclennan of Sarasota, Florida and six grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren in October of 1987.
In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to Grace Congregational Church.
