Marian I. Sampe, age 66, of 2005 24th St., Two Rivers, died Thursday, May 11, 1995, at her residence.

Memorial Services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 1995, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Rev. William Plank will officiate at the service with cremation having taken place.

She was born July 9, 1928, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Bertis and Julia Niquette Porter. She graduated from Washington High School, Two Rivers, the Manitowoc Teachers College, Silver Lake College and received her Master's Degree in library science from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo. She was a librarian at Washington High School in Two Rivers and in most recent years for the elementary schools in Two Rivers until her retirement. Marian was a member of the Two Rivers Senior Citizens.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Barbara Sampe, Poquoson, Va.; two grandchildren, Bret Sampe, Brenda Sampe; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Donald Noll, Two Rivers, Judy and Claude Vogel, Concord, Calif., Catherine and Frank Keller, Pennsylvania; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends surviving.

Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the American Heart Association.
