She was born on January 31, 1926, in Claysburg; daughter of the late William and Ida Belle (Dively) Weyandt.
On June 20, 1949, she married Cloyd Melvin Ake, who preceded her in death on September 20, 1999.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Karen Miller; Granddaughter, Abby Corle; great-grandson, Mickael Mannion; granddaughter, JoAnna Ake; granddaughter, Julia Brown; and 12 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Sharon and David Mannion of Osterburg; Beverly and James Brown of Osterburg; Rhoda and Ron Becker of Dysart; and Gregory Ake of Osterburg; 26 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Catherine; Dora; Jean; and Louise; and son-in-law, Gary Miller, husband of the late Karen Miller.
Alice was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church of Osterburg. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, December 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Trinity Reformed Church and on Saturday, December 14 from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Reformed Church in Osterburg, with Rev. Charlie Miller officiating.
Interment will be held at the Osterburg Community Cemetery.
