Mrs. Ben Scott Dies Saturday
Russell-Services or Mrs. Hazel Scott, 55, were held at 4:00 p.m. Monday in the Campbell Funeral Home, Eureka. Burial was in the Toronto Cemetery. She died Saturday.
Born in Greenwood County, Kans., she had been a Russell resident since 1944.
Survivors include her widower, Ben, two daughters, Mrs. Imogene Kennedy, Lenora, and Mrs. Patricia Countryman, Pawnee Rock; her mother, Mrs. Flossie Cheever, Pawnee Rock; five brothers, Wayne and Floyd Cheever, both of Wichita, James Cheever, Eureka, Larry Cheever Hoisington and Raymond Cheever, Great Bend; and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Shaner and Mrs. Marie Becker, both of Great Bend.
