Eliza Jane and their youngest daughter Pearl migrated to Wyoming, where Eliza Jane worked as a Domestic in Lost Cabin, Fremont County. She died in 1902, and in 1903 Pearl married a local ranch hand, Alfred Alonzo "Lon" Leathers. The couple continued to work in ranching until they migrated to Woodland, Cowlitz, Washington.
Calvin B. Benson worked the family farm in Arkansas until he became a resident of the U.S. National Homes for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in Leavenworth, Kansas. Before he died, he lived with their daughter Harriet (Whitaker) in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
