March 16, 1936 ~ December 23, 2019 (age 83) Ronald Kenneth Lee, age 83, of Neals Creek Road in Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Monday March 16, 1936 in the Korea community of Menifee County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Corbitt “JC” & Emma Jane Lawson Lee. His loving wife, whom he married Sunday, September 12, 1954, is Sally Huff Lee of Stanford. Ronald retired, as an Electronic Technician, for Armco (AK Steel). He was of the Agnostic faith, and enjoyed gardening and traveling with his motorcycle and RV, in his spare time. Ron, to whom his friends referred him, was always up for a good debate.
Ronald leaves behind two sons, Kenneth Marlon Lee (Terry Ann) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Avery Durand Lee (Lynette) of Middletown, Ohio; four grandchildren, Ryan Lee (Ashley) of Greenville, Michigan, Stephen Lee of Orlando, Florida, Samantha Lee of Greenville, South Carolina, and Erik Lee of Cleveland, Ohio; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler Lee, Andrea Lee, and Bryson Lee.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by six brothers; and three sisters.
Cremation Rites have been honored. No services are scheduled at this time.
