Mrs. B. H. Walker's Funeral Services

Funeral services for Mrs. B. H. Walker, Warwick Courthouse, who died at Elizabeth Buxton hospital Wednesday morning following a brief illness, were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Denbigh Baptist church. Rev. J. H. Hardy, pastor of Olivet Christian church, officiating, with interment in the church burying ground. Singing was conducted by the choir from the Mennonite church at the request of her family.

Mrs. Walker was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Campbell, and was born on January 12, 1886, near Warwick Courthouse.

On April 18, 1907, she married B. H. Walker, of Warwick Courthouse, who, with their three children, Virginia, Harrison and Clayton, the latter being a three-weeks-old infant, survive her. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. W. P. Campbell, and one brother, Captain Clarence Campbell, of the Newport News Detectives.

The active pallbearers were: Messrs. B. P. Smith, C. A. Hubbard, J. C. Curtis, J. E. Tabb, T. T. Valis and T. C. Weymouth. The following friends of Captain Campbell, officers of the Newport News police department, were honorary pallbearers: Desk Sergeant W. C. Cosby and Officers H. H. Griffin, E. W. Lascolette, E. W. Bradford, James Mitchell, J. W. Addison, Robert DeKorte, Frank Helfrick, R. C. geiger, C. V. Lindsay, A. L. Livesay, R. C. Yeatts, C. R. Clements, C. D. Thomas, E. L. Parrish, J. W. West, Harry Gallerni, E. L. Whitmore and S. J. Lindsay.
