RUSSELLVILLE (Special) --Mrs. Anna Melvina Schatzer, 77, a former resident of Russellville, died Tuesday in a Mexico hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Schatzer was born Oct. 5, 1879, at Brazito, the daughter of Heronmus and Elizabeth Hernleben Zimmerman. She was married in 1908 to Charles E. Schatzer, who died in 1920.
Survivors include two sons, B. Ray Schatzer, Mexico, and Oscar E. Schatzer of the U.S. Navy at Norfolk, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Griffin, Jefferson City, and Mrs. Vic Huhman, Omaha, Neb.; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three brothers.
Mrs. Schatzer was a member of the Russellville Methodist Church and of the Ladies Missionary Circle of the Church.
Funeral services will be held at the Russellville Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Friday and burial in Enloe Cemetery.
