Daniel Basil Burdette 73, of Charleston passed away Wednesday December 18, 2019 at CAMC Memorial following a long illness. He was a former employee of True Temper.

Born January 17, 1946 he was the son of the late Oshel Burdette and Culla Sigman Burdette. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Burdette; sisters, Lynn Burdette and Garnet Price; step- sons, Dale Young and Gary Neal.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Arlene Neal of Charleston; sons, Steve “Bub” Burdette and Daniel Burdette both of Robertsburg; step son, Mike Neal; sister, Reba Crosier, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 28th, 2019 at Raynes Funeral Home (Eleanor Chapel) with Pastor J.J Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Burdette Family Cemetery, Tuppers Creek. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
