Desert Sun July 3, 1973 A private memorial service was to be held today at the Palm Desert Community Church for Jay F. Price, 91. of Palm Desert. Price died Sunday morning at the Coachella House following a long illness. A native of Kansas, he had resided in California for 50 years, 19 years in Palm Desert. An insurance adjuster in the Los Angeles area, he was a member of the Pasadena Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his widow Irma of Palm Desert. Interment was in a private cemetary with the Rev. Dean Miller officiating. Palm Springs mortuary was in charge.
