Mr. Raymond Davis passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on December 28, 2019. He was born on April 22, 1948 in Corbin, Kentucky, a son of Hugh and Lorene Davis. In 1966 he was married to Lorraine Dolores Hess who preceded him in death on February 21, 2016.
Mr. Davis was a devoted Christian rich in his faith. He was a loving husband, father and brother and grandfather. He showed kindness to everyone and was a devoted man to those he loved. He enjoyed sports, going to the horse track and playing Keno. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a truck driver.
Raymond is survived by his loving children; Raymond Davis, Jr. (Frances Farkas) , Michael (Kathy) Davis and Michele (Ervin) Brooks. Adored brother of Danny Lee (Ida) Davis and Pamela Davis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine, his parents and 4 siblings; Hugh West Davis, Reba Faye Davis, Linville Bill Davis and Charles Edward Davis.
In keeping with Mr. Davis wishes a simple cremation has taken place. A memorial in Mr. Davis’ honor will take place at a later date
