21 Nov 1923: Friends of Roy Kindt were shocked to hear of his death this morning at the residence of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J. Kindt of 422 New street. Mr. Kindt was ill for the last 19 weeks from dropsy. He was employed as a burnisher at Kreider shoe factory and was well liked by his fellow employees and friends. He was an active member of Walmer's Reformed church and was a member of Knights of Malta. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kindt, daughter Beatrice and brothers John, Paul, Harry and Clarence. His wife preceded him in death several years ago. [Lebanon Daily News]
